At Harshal Gramin Vikas Bahuddeshiya Sanstha (HGVBS), our journey has always been guided by a deep commitment to inclusive development and social justice. Since our establishment in 1997 in Chandrapur, Maharashtra, we have worked with a clear purpose to empower communities and create sustainable pathways for growth, dignity, and self-reliance.

Our work spans critical areas such as livelihood development, sanitation, water supply, education, natural resource management, women's empowerment, and health. We believe that meaningful and long-lasting change can only be achieved when development is participatory, knowledge-driven, and rooted in the real needs of communities. Through integrated teaching, research, training, and extension activities, we strive to strengthen both urban and rural populations.

Our vision is to build a progressive, peaceful, and just society founded on equality, dignity, and mutual support. In line with this vision, our mission focuses on providing livelihood opportunities, academic and technical resource support, and capacity building interventions that enable individuals and communities to become self-reliant and resilient.
